Bosch AFMs under boost

With my last turbo bimmer (E30) I used a draw-through design with regards to the AFM (yes, I used the stock AFM- it was only pushing 10psi ;) ). I've seen some people charging the AFMs, and I'm wondering if anyone knows the longevity of such a setup, and about how much boost they can take before risking failure.

Thanks again!

You already know the answer to this question. The AFM is not designed as a blow through and does not work effectively in this capacity.

Yeah, I do know the answer... I just didn't know how the people who did charge them accomplished it. Vacuum is a lot different than boost, as far as leak sealing goes... I'm just not familiar with how much Bosch's AFMs could handle.

Throttle response was one thing my 318 did not have.
