I'd bet that with a few more runs on that setup you could be in the 11's. That is badass for a stock motor. Nice work TCD.

A little more information.

I datalogged the run. Boost flucuated between 17.69 and 19.86. so figure 18.7psi average.

Finally had traction problems. Warmed up the drag radials on the 2nd run and the subframe over came the subframe bushings. Subframe slapped the body of the car with an authoritative BAM.

Clutch slipped in 3rd gear on my first run of 12.17 @ 118.5.

Last run I shifted rather slowly to help the clutch. It worked but it sure cost me on my et.

All this was accomplished with an organic clutch! I hate puck clutches and have proven that for almost all my customers they are not necessary. I am happy about this.

Lastly, my two boys aged 7 and 9, loved the experience. I think they understand how fast the car is now.

Uhh... I doubt that Todd needs any advice on his driveline setup. :|

He had a metal 9 puck in there, but it started slipping at 5er Fest. I guess he swapped this unit in afterwards.

Todd despises the clutch feel of a puck clutch anyway. He'd go back to the automatic before going to a puck clutch again.

I'm not sure... I have the UUC semi-puck clutch. One side is pucks the other side is standard clutch.

Ive got one, but I hate it. Standing starts are very bad with this clutch. Im going to replace it a more standard unit.

I have a SPEC 6 puck. Mine looks a lot like yours, Duke. Is that the Stage 3? I've gotten used to and adapted to mine, but chatter free starts in traffic can be a bit of a challenge. Most of the time I'm pretty smooth. It loves to be launched hard. :D

No, but after his 5erfest clutch abuse, maybe a little driveline 'care and feeding' advice might be helpful? ;)

Maybe he shouldn't put 400 lb-ft to a brand new clutch, ehh?
