What head does the m106 have?

is it basically a b34 with bigger studs or does it have bigger valves, better flow etc... how does it compare to the b34 or the b35? whats it like on a b34 bottom end?

The valve size is the same. The exhaust valves are nimonic. Basically the same head besides the exhaust studs and valve material. Camshaft is different though.

Its unclear that the cam is different. The part # may differ, but no one can find a difference.

I was thinking the m102 camshaft was 264/112, the m106 is 260/112 and the m30b34 282/110. I'll have to find my notes.

I think you typo'd, M30b34 should be 262/110.

i think we've had a discussion about this before.... according to the M106/102 gurus on Scotty's website -- there is absolutely no difference between heads except the exhaust studs. But... it's still up in the air.

One difference which is certain is the word "turbo" cast into the side of the cylinder head - kinda cool...
