Thinking about the rear mount turbo again on the V8. I was wondering about how to keep the turbo lubed. Is there other options than running two oil lines to the rear of the car from the engine? Are there self contained units?

There was a fairly long thread about this on the Tricord e21 board. Peter Mooney of LS-1 e12 fame is planning to install a rear mounted turbo on an e30. The consensus of that group was to mount an oil tank and a heat exchanger in the rear with a scavenge pump to move oil through the turbo and possibly a small electric fan on the heat exchanger.

Aaron,
Looks like this system is using a line from the oil filter location run back to the turbo.
