He has. My S1 car was 2 tenths faster in the 1/8th mile...

Yep - already posted the results. Do a search.

Cliffnotes - not one clean pass without wheel hop. Car is still broken, waiting on transmission and engine mounts.

When the new mounts go in, try to make at least a few runs with the TC switched off completely. It would be cool to see the difference! Get the wheelspin under control and you'll be humiliating a lot of cars at your local strip.

Scan or post the details of the best 1/8 ET slip, please.

Yep, will do it with no launch control. I will keep the TC on at 10% slip and not use the full throttle shift initially. Even with my crap 1st gear wheel hop, I was beating or very close to beating all of the V8's and most of the trailered drag cars. I was amazed how slow some of the purpose built cars were running. The only thing running under 8 (that day) was a motorcycle.
Scan or post the details of the slip, please.
Which one? The best 60, best ET, best MPH. They are all different. My best ET of 8.79 had a MPH of 85. Even with bad wheel hop in 1st, managed to get up to 85 mph by the 8th and at only 10 psi.

To be honest with you guys, once the car is completely fixed (mounts are on back order until next week) I will be about a week out from the show. Am not going to take it to the track and risk breaking more stuff that close to the show.

Your running a S1 kit correct

If he is duke you have a lot of cleaning up to do with your setup. Things are just out of wack..

1/4 mile will give you the best estimate of rwhp.

Come on duke I am actually one of the people that want to see your setup get mid 4's rwhp and really good launch.

Before you get a piece of that e36 that todd has growling....

Come on...

Slow down to speed up.......

Actually, you were .121 faster ;) Great on you with a s1 though!

Oh yea, the car was 8.7930 seconds faster than chrism's car in the 1/8

I guess you cannot talk any shit to me or Kyle or Greg or almost any other TCD car so you now resort to talking shit about a car that isn't currently running but was able to accomplish something 4 years ago that you have NOT.

It's going to be ugly when we line up all the TCD cars at 5erFest and everyone will think yours is the fastest but it could possibly be the slowest.

I can talk shit to whoever I want; it is how you react that’s fun.

Won’t be ugly at all. Don't think we will be doing drag races in the parking lot. Who knows, it may or may not be the fastest, it will most likely be the best looking though. Where I am now at 10 psi and an 80% tune, I am quite happy. 100% tune and 15-18 psi will be a completely different story.

Did not realize that there was a "competition" on who had the fastest "TCD" car. I have the most expensive TCD turboed car that is for sure. Nothing like two engine rebuilds in as many years due to being screwed.

And once again Todd, you turn a nice fun thread into a shit slinging fest. Nice. For the guy who produces the turbo kit on the car, you should be talking it up, not taking shots at it........................simply amazing.

He's not talking shit on the car, his words are aimed at you. There is no doubt your car is nice as hell, but I think everyone is tired of your ego. If you would spend a little less time trying to be top dog, there might be fewer of these "shit slinging" threads. Don't even bother coming back at me because I won't reply.

Don't know, was a 1/8 track.

I am glad you speak for everyone Skeen.

I will buy Beer for everyone with a bigger ego than me at the Fest. It will be a lot.

If you say such a statement then you should expect a reply...thats not fair

Him thinking that he is top dog...I think he just wants to be the fastest..

His cars appearance is flawless....just the turbo setup needs a lot of TLC but thats not a big deal

Him explaining his new add-ons to his system is bragging?

Will have 1/8 mile numbers at 5er Fest. No, will not post them before in case Todd wants to get foggy and race me at the strip.

^^^^^ Remember the race between Brad (Shifty) and myself. You should, you started it. Image

I lost badly. I had talked so much smack that Brad himself felt he did not have a chance against me. I knew that I would probably lose and I did not care because it was fun. Everyone had fun with it too. It was one of "THE" events at the first 5er Fest.

You see, it was all in good fun. Just as this is, in my mind, good fun.

Chill dude. :poke:

And BTW - Brad and I are still good friends.
Image

You know, good friends....like these two guys who used to play nice together.

111 actually wasent it  Even faster than Todd's car at the time too ;)

And you guys all think I'm just talking out of my ass

And as for the crying over blown engines.....blah w/e

In the course of that summer I replaced 2 sets of pistons, one head, 2 clutches a transmission,(only one 235K mile original headgasget tho ;) ) and god knows what else. All on stock electronics with add on band-aids.

My car hasent run in 3 years. I just dont have the time to take away from working to lay a slap on some clowns online ego. But dont worry Wen it gets back together(hopefully soon) I'll be sure to let everyone know how badly I overpower you

My ego will require a keg Duke :alright:
