Price is going to be $899. Price includes a complete rebuild and new Garret 60 trim wheel. Many mods to the k27 were necessary to make this happen but our turbo house was able to accomplish it. We'll need your core as well.

We'll always have one in stock so we'll be able to send you a new one first and accept yours after installation of the new one.

I know several guys were interested so please let me know if you want to purchase this one. I intend to stock 1 at a time.

Todd by core do you mean the center section or the entire K27? Need to know if I need to disable the 545is for any length of time.

Plus have you tried it out on your 745i yet? Or going by your experience with Garrett turbos you have more or less an eyeballed guess as to performance. Thanks for any info.

I'll need the entire k27. I'll send you the new turbo first and you can send me the core afterwards.

The 60 trim wheel is what we use on all the m30 motors and now the m50. It's a great wheel. I know what it does so I am not going to install one on the 745i in the short term.

No need for testing. It's the compressor used on almost all of our m30 cars. I have 40k miles on that wheel all by my myself!

Yea, but you know how people are. They want to the see the numbers that the M106 engine will produce with the M106 manifold and your modified waste gate.

Todd I dont think I said I would take one as soon as it was ready but I am building a m106 and waiting to get it back from the machine shop going out to 94mm so I am not quite ready yet.

I was hopeing for a little less on the price but it makes since to overhaul all of them with the upgrade and when you do the math the price is in line.

One question I have is what mm size is the inducer along with it being 60 trim and do they machine the housing maybe you can elaborate on the extent of the upgrade for eveyone here and it may save some time on the phone later I know your time is valuble when at the shop!

I for one did not "need" numbers. I just asked if he tried it out because someone will eventually. Todd stated his experience of using this 60 turbo with all of the other kits he has produced so without the benefit of the TCD manifold the numbers should be lower/comparable than a full blown TCD system.

Where my enthusiasm was piqued was when I asked for the possibility of a group buy. The possibility of lining up several dedicated buyers in the hopes of the collective buying power of a group resulting in a decent discount on the modified turbo.

As it seems all the enthusiasm went away when the hard numbers (price) were posted. This does not dissuade me from buying one, but then any savings disappeared as fast as the collective enthusiasm did.

I think its funny that every time anyone posts any kind of power claims, upgrade claims, hp #s or the like...Todd is the first one to get on their thread and tell them their numbers are unrealistic and they need to hit the dyno or get a new AFM.

Now all the sudden he expects his 745 buyers to just trust that this product is outting down "x" amount of power etc... All without ever installing it or dyno'ing it.

C'mon Todd...do as you say.

Glad I could make you laugh. Here is a 60 trim compressor map. Look up "how to read turbo compressor maps" if you do not know what you are looking at.

You are all about proof and #s and dynos and such. All I was saying is that it would be appropriate for YOU to be the first tester. If Metric Mechanic or Miller or another tuner did this you would've immediately told everyone that they have never dyno'd the product and that their #s were false and optimistic.

I'm not barking at any tree...I don't even own a 745. I don't know a thing about turbos. I'm just commenting on how you are doing your own pet peeve.

The numbers that Todd stated were based on gasoline combustion math and the turbo compressor map.

I would be almost suprised if the 745 made similar power with the same wheel with the stock m106 turbine, manifold and exhaust.

This is simply a remanufactured K27 with a new compressor wheel which is proven to support greater power than the K27 compressor wheel.
