Out of curiosity, has anyone determined the ideal AFR yet?

For a forced induction m30, that is.

13:1 is generally the goal for naturally aspirated power, but turbo motors seem to thrive somewhere between 11.5:1 and 13:1. Anybody actually played around enough to figure out the ideal AFR for power under boost for the m30 yet?

Thanks, Todd. I'm going to drag the e28 out of storage tomorrow and see if I can clean up that high end richness.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Thats what I am working with right now and is a safe ratio.

Once the car is on the dyno for final tuning, I will know what the engine really likes. Could be leaner or richer.
