We'll save one fer yaJeremy wrote:You suck, Todd. I was actually considering an e36 for my next vehicle. The availability of that kit may put the kabosh on that simply due to my proven inability to resist turbo temptation.
Congrats, hope they're all close to or already sold.

We may need to talk, indeed. Do you have the prototype kit re-installed?T_C_D wrote:My 2000 528i Sport is for sale. Nope, it's being delayed until next year. I'll buy another e39 then. This one is totally stock with everything working.Mike-TurboE24 wrote:We may need to talk, indeed. I cannot wait to tell my wife that I bought an e28 to replace the e39. She is going to be really happy.

Top secret until the deal is done. Suffice to say that it is much nicer than any other e28 I have ever owned.wkohler wrote:Where was it? Whose was it?

I am about 100% positive I know the car. And yes, it will be the nicest E28 you have ever owned. Treat it nice.T_C_D wrote: Top secret until the deal is done. Suffice to say that it is much nicer than any other e28 I have ever owned.

Why not be a total dickhead and post all the pictures? Car isn't even paid for yet. Don't jinx it for me.Duke M535ti wrote:I am about 100% positive I know the car. Becuase I am not a dickhead, picture removed from my post. Good luck with the purchase.T_C_D wrote: Why not be a total dickhead and post all the pictures? Car isn't even paid for yet. Don't jinx it for me.
The entire manifold expands and contracts with little differential between the mounting flanges and the "log". Shrinking after being poured was only about 1mm over the length of the casting so normal exhaust temps will have little effect.cwl4m5 wrote:is the manifold all one piece where it bolts on? Or does each cylinder have an individual section that bolts on? Does it matter? Just thinking that individual could contract and expand better.
