Its been a while since the last kill thread...

I ended up running the "fastest stock turbo SRT-4 in New Mexico" last night. His best time at our track was a 13.00 at 106. So I was pretty sure I was going to get stomped out.

We both had a passenger, and we shot video from my car. From a 40 roll, I was a little late building boost, so he got a half car out off the honk. He stayed there until he had to shift, while I was still quite content with second gear. I started to pull out from 5500 until I shifted at 6700. I stayed about a half car ahead until he had to shift again, then I got away some more. By fourth gear and well into the 1xx's he was toast.

So I guess I should get back to the track. My best trap last time was barely 100, but that was on motronic and about 12 psi. With 14-15 on Megasquirt and a blown head gasket, I consistently beat a guy that trapped 106, so I should be good for at least that.

I havent seen the video come up. I dont even know whos camera its on. I guess it came out crappy. It figures though. The best car to shoot from is the one that gets beat. I thought that was going to be me.

I really will try to get a good video next time. They make these kill threads worth reading.

Maybe stick the cam in your back window pointing out. A good sign to the person of what's about to happen!

That one always kinda reminds of the scene in Better Off Dead with the station wagon and the Japanese exchange students who learned English by listening to Howard Cosell.

I love that scene.

"Two brothers... One speaks no English, the other learned English from watching "The Wide World of Sports." So you tell me... Which is better, speaking no English at all, or speaking Howard Cosell?"
