Hello All,
I'm going to attempt to post some pics of my latest occupations. I'm building the bottom end of my e28 m5 m88 Turbo. The crank was knife-edged and was reduced by 10 lbs. I'm using custom JE pistons. It is 94mm bore x 86mm stroke to bump it to 3.6 liters. Everything has been balanced individually down to 0.5g, then balanced together.
I also recently completed the e9 2800cs m30b35 turbo project. I will eventually post more pics which will be better quality. Here is a shot under the hood. This was a couple weeks before I really finished it up.

very nice !.., who did the crank work ? And I assume this is a e34 crank ? M5 or 535 ?
I have an M5 crank, 86mm, that is stock but would love to knife edge that baby. Although I heard that by removing the counter weight you loose that high speed smooth cruise on the freeway. What do you know ?
Look forward to to your reply.

Castillo Crank Service of La Mirada, CA did the work. I have seen their work in multiple magazines and I talked with the owner. They seem reputable. Yes, it's an m30 crank, which is how I got from 84mm to 86mm stroke. I'm excited to see how this turns out with -10lbs. off the crank. I'm in the process of building a SS top-mount manifold. Woohoo! ![Banana ](./images/smilies/banana.gif)
