I am looking for a head for my 3.2/3.5.
I need it milled and cleaned already. Let me know what you have. I want to be able to slap it on when I get it.
I would like pics and I need a guarantee it isn't cracked. Let me know what you have.
Thanks
DJ

Let me just add.
I am looking for a head, obviously.
I am really needing a head, which I will buy off of you, and some of your time to have it checked/milled/cleaned by a good machine shop that you know. My BMW mechanic is going charge me an arm and a leg if he has to take it off and send it out.
So if one of you are willing to sell me a head and get it milled by a respectable machine shop around you, I would greatly apprecaite it.
I know is seems like I am asking a lot but this will save me a lot of money, about $250 that I can put some where else.
Hopefully that makes sense.

You could always unbox it and drop it off at a reputable machine shop yourself. Not many people will invest the money in having a B34 head gone through and decked if they are going to sell it. It usually means that they have more money in the thing than it is worth. They only usually sell for around the $200 range from what I've seen. Machine work could easily double that...

I am prepared to pay up to $400 for a head that is perfect condition, with all the work done.
I don't have the time, nor the tools to get some of the things off and it is going to cost me $300 for my mechanic to take it off, send it to a machine shop, and JUST diagnois the head...this doesn't have ANYTHING to do with fixing the problem.
I put that amount of money into getting an already done head, that has all the fixin's and it will save me money.

just doing the M20 heads, the machine work is 300 solely for resurfacing, 3 angle valve job, port matching the manifold,
thats not even pressure testing, assembly or disassembly, valve seals, guides etc...
you are looking at 500 realistically at the minimum

I have a fully loaded head off an 85 635csi on a shelf in my garage. If you wanted to pay me a deposit for 1/2 the expected cost of machine work I could bring it to my machinist who always does great work for me and get it pressure checked, then cleaned and decked if it passes, as well as valves cut and valve stem seals installed if you so desired, or if he finds that the valves aren't sealing properly. If he finds any cracks or it's warped past spec I will refund your deposit. Let me know via AIM or email if you'd be interested in working something out. If I get $250 for the head assuming its good on top of machine shop. I think the last 12v head he did for me was $280 for everything including disassembly and cutting the valves. If you just wanted the head cleaned, pressure checked and decked you can leave the cam and rockers in and do it without disassembling anything, you just loosen the eccentrics and move the rockers off the lobes of the cam.
Anyhow get in touch if you want to work something out.
