Just starting to look at the possible up grades at this stage.
In earlier posts, in regards to lowering intake temp,
Duke you noted 50/50 water injection.
What cc nozzel (s) did you run?other then Duke, anyone else have any experience on sizing etc.

cheers and a merry christmas wished to all, from the bottem side of the world

Cheers Duke for the link, was rather helpfull.

Looks like it would do the trick.
problem is,unfortunatly, our dollar is worth nothing so its out of my range of what i'm willing to part with.so I had another idea. No.8 wire idea ( i can hear my mates laughing already),thats you brent

Ok,the ecu I'm running is a 8860 ems.
capable of running 4 extra drivers;injectors in pulse/hold option.
the idea is to setup 2 or three injectors in a staggered formation.1 at 4 psi boost.2 at 8.3 at 12.for example

running 6 42pound injectors to fuel the machine at the moment.

I read/researched that WI should work up to 10-15% of supplied
fuel.that works out to be,round the 38 pounds of water/meth,acetone etc. at full boost/power.(15%)

Idea is to use standard fuel injectors + a modified fuel rail.
and a pump that will give sum decent amount of pressure, plus check valve etc etc.

1.how much is the standard injector rated at?
cold start?
2. Q,how much pressure could a standard injector handle before its insides fly out the exchaust?
( I ask cause the standard fuel regulater is 3 bar-65 odd psi.
would like to run 80-100psi as these pumps are available for this application)

Or am i way off the course here and rather sell off a few bits and buy the offered goods that are available

cheers all,marty

Using standard fuel injectors with water/methonal will result in them rusting shut. Search the web for "water injection parts" and you'll get alot of hits for DIY kits. I got my nozzles from Mcmaster Carr and a pump from northern tool. It's all being ran by my megasquirt as an on/off output.

Cool,thanks for the info.

1 Q how did you make the injector turn on/off?
did you install a soloind valve which opens/closes? or just switching the pump?

Yep, MS controls ground to the pump and solonoid through a float switch. When MS grounds the pump/sol'd, it also grounds the table switching input so I can adjust timing and fuel while under w/i. It's all on paper right now, keep that in mind. I'll post more on it in the coming weeks when everything starts going back together.

Hurry up! I'm getting bored showing the rest of these guys up around town by myself! I'm sure they could use some stiffer competition!
