Depending on how desperate you are, I have a couple that I won't be using. Unfortunately, each has a boot that is compromised, but supposedly they are otherwise 'good'. Bit of a story there. Anyway, since I'll be passing through Vegas, I could even drop them somewhere for you for a nominal fee ... say $20.

CV boots aren't too hard to renew. I recently did the halfshafts on the e34 535, after doing the front boots on the x5. Get the crimp tool & a couple extra straps(start with the small inner straps as the big outer straps are hard to find seperately). I used Redline CV grease to repack the CV joints. It seemed to be a good project as there are new rubber boots & new grease in there. The hard parts of the CV joints are very sturdy. The balls weren't scored at all & the cages seemed tight. New halfshafts are varly expensive.

I replace a pair of half-shafts with remanufactured ones from Kragen (different names throughout the country). About $70 each/exchange and that's with new boots and cv joints! (Just the boots will cost you about $20 each X 4).
Once a boot is torn and the grease is gone, the cv joint is junk...
