After deleting 2 1/2 hours of work last night by accident putting this blurb together here it is once again I hope. Well the sun god shon us again and gave us great weather to view and enjoy this marque called BMW from its glory days.I averaged 5 hours of sleep over 4 days and believe you me that sleeping 8 Sunday and Monday night was like the way a holiday should be. Enough of the crap talk. On Thursday Killer PM dropped by for the weekend to help and so on. We replaced the switch on top of the brake bomb and then JB welded the fog light brackets onto the IS that took us into Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile we were waiting for Aaron and Andy to arrive from Mass after their crank pully hub fell off. They finally made it by 2AM Friday morning and we had lotsa cold beers waiting for them.Roy W made it in early Friday afternoon and showed up with his beautiful 44,000 mile US M5 with Euro lights, Euro bumpers, glass moonroof, new leather dash and an amazing sound system.
Next came Sia with his fleet of 4 cars that we had to car pool to my place for the event.
Then Adrian and Cousin Bill pulled in from Tampa,Florida.
After a few beers we went out to Turtle Jacks for dinner which was sponsored by Sia And BLT Construction.
Saturday morning came early and the event team went out for a big greasy breakfast to tie us over till the BBQ.
A total of 81 cars made it this year.
1 e12 -- Eddie's
3 e34s -- including an Alpineweiss M5
18 e28s -- including 2 M535is, 3 N.A. M5s, 1 Euro M5 and Sia's B7 Turbo
Also counted 5 M6s including a Euro M6 and Dave Reid's Turbo car. Two Bavs, one 3.0 csi, 1 Alpina tribute Italian market 1502, 4 2002s (2 of which were tiis), the Tatra, the 1750 Alfa Romeo Bertone coupe, a bunch of M3s (e30, e36, e46 all represented) etc
Killer PM's old Bavaria.
There were alot of Sharks present and a few more came after this pic was taken.
Most of the newer M cars were on the back row holding their own with people looking at them.
My neigbour Dan came with his Bucket truck to take aerial photographs with everybody's camera's.
My family minus the oldest.L to R.
Rebecca,Heather,Suzanne and my wife Dianna and Suzy's girlfriend Felicia. That's me in the back row.
The only trophies that I hand out at Tedfest are 3 for furthest distance travelled.
First place was Adrian from Tampa,Florida.
Second place went to Aaron from Hartford,Conn.
Third place went to Roy W from Petersham,Mass.
Chris dropped by with his slammed Ghia.
After the BBQ Sia took a few people out for rides in his Alpina B7 Turbo. This part of the event I enjoy because I love the expressions on people's faces when they get out of car after the ride.
Louis from Michigan said it was worth the drive from Michigan just for a ride in the B7.
Sunday morning rolled around again too quick and the Pancake breakfast was on.The menue consisted of pancakes, sausages, fresh fruit,Portuguese pastries and Timmy's coffee.
Guido family business Connasseur Foods sponsored the pancake breakfast.
People checking out Lou's 1.8L Supercharged Z3.

I would like to thank the sponsores for making Tedfest 2009 a success once again. With out them I would not be able to pull it off. Thank you to my event team and their spouses for their great support. Thank you to my neighbours for putting up with 40 plus BMW's in a dead end court. Finally a huge thank you to Suzanne,Rebecca, wife Dianna, Heather for lookin pretty. and for putting up with my sickness. For those 80 % of Americans that do not have a passport. Get one if you want to enjoy some great Canadian hospitality. I judge an event by the fact that if I have fun then the drive is worth it. Thank you all that attended this year and the Tedfest 2010 event team is looking for to seeing old faces and some new faces up here in the Great white north.
