Gents, To complete the deal with my wife for the M5, all my E28 "stuff" has to go. It's admittedly mostly packrat crap, but there are some gems in this package deal. First $1000 and you haul it all away. Sell a tranny swap and the sport seats and you've made your money back.

one banged up schwarz '86 535 with some good bits and some bad:

good: nice leather, 5spd, 3.46 diff, H&R Springs front and bilsteins all round (sports in front, HD in back)

bad: driver side roughed up and front suspension wonky.

'85 535 parts car stripped of most everything but drivetrain- getrag 265 tranny perfect for swapping.

Both cars should be towed

E30 manual sport seats black
E28 elec. sport seats black
tons of interior bits- most old decaying leather.

enough pearl biege to make you sick

spare M30
spare M20 eta
spare rebuilt eta head
spare 265 tranny with drive shaft

I have had the pleasure of six E28s -including William's eta and the parts car. My stash is mostly junk that will end up being tossed but I have a story to go along with every single piece. Maybe it came from icehaus or PK was showing me a fix. maybe it was the parts party when the parts car was stripped or it was the trip to see Julius, the madhungarian when he was in Austin. maybe it came alongfor the ride on my weekend trip to San Diego for 5erFest.

of course I'll miss the cars. E28s are the best, most practical, most balanced sedan ever built. It was just time to move up to something that would hold the family and still be fun.

Anyway, parts is parts but the memories are priceless.

Thanks for the reply via PM.

Any pics available for the good doors on the '86?
Rust, etc...?
Are either or both rollers, or would trailers be required to move them?

How does one justify not buying all this crap?

If you can't sell that eta (Or the M30), and just want to get rid of it, I might be able to take it.

Sherman alerted me to this post, I may be interested in the driveshaft if you're willing to part with it. It is pretty much the only piece I am missing to have my E28 move under it's own power.

I'll also take the springs and blistens if you're willing to part with them. I can send my stock suspension if you need something for it to sit on.

Let me know how much you want for the suspension and the driveshaft. I might be able to come pick it up this Friday or Saturday; if not I'll happily pay for shipping.
