I hope you let them know you slowed down so they could catch up because otherwise you would have lost them.

So are y'all in trouble or not? I hate cryptic messages. What's the deal with all of the law enforcement?

Oh..y'all weren't really in trouble. Otherwise, Sia and Sherman would have been down on the ground in cuffs with a boot grinding their head into the pavement rather than just standing there chatting. The LEOs just happened to pull into where y'all had parked and y'all asked them to be in the RTT documentary movie.

What exactly did you warn them about, CR? I'm waiting for the story, but I can imagine any one of a number of possible transgressions.

That other dude is Chris from WV. He looks to be concerned in that photo. Maybe just because his hand got slammed in Sia's trunk.

Thanks. Putting names to faces is NOT my specialty.
He doesn't look terribly concerned, more interested. Sia is smiling, so I'm hoping it's nothing dreadful. I look forward to the tale.

Could be all of the beer on the curb right in front of the COPs. Or the one in his hand.

Virginia doesn't have open container laws AFAIK, so they're good on that count.

No law against beer sitting on the curb.

Jeremy,
You are absolutely correct. Apparently it is a transgrission to drink beer in the parking lot at a hotel in west virgina.
Once the six officers with a canine dog talked to the manager, they discovered we were valued guest of the hotel.

Maybe Twisty smacked the hood of the LEO's vehicle and the LEO is asking them which way he went. Getting ready to let the K-9 loose.

LOL good times. Sherman had to pour out his beer. I just stuck mine in my pocket and continued drinking once they left.

A total non-story. Local counsel handled it with perfunctory grace and diversionary tactics. First two troopers asked nary a thing of our beverages. A-hole Lieutenant complete with lights and sirens tried to play Mr. Tough. Sherman was too honest and had to dump 3 ozs. of Coors Light. No great loss. Needless to say, not much ever seems to happen in Beckley, WV. At least the drive up was awesome.
RTT is here to stay.

Coors Light? What a shame to have to lose such a carefully and expertly crafted brew.

It was the 3 rd time on the drive we had look overs by the local gendarmarie. Mostly just curiousity. The air was a little tense for a minute or 2 . I was relieved when a paddy wagon didnt show up . No harm, no foul. Mebbe , Twisty should give the state police a copy of the itinarary and we could call them when we got lost.

I didn't notice it wasn't Tennessee constabulary - and I even know West-by-God Virginia patrol markings.

No, cat deleted systems are evidently against the law to weld on.
