Lets post all our non-affiliated cars for sale here in this thread which we can cycle monthly. This series was previously known as 'Rodney's interesting CL find thread...' now with a new name, but the same amazing result!
I have No Affiliation with these cars or sellers unless otherwise noted and cannot endorse them but am putting them here for discussion and your own edification.

I'm selling my 1986 BMW e30 325e coupe everything works except the compressor needs to be replaced and passenger window motor just went out. It doesn't have a radio but the car runs great cluster is all working except the odometer stop at 170k miles. All fluids have been recently changed engine oil, tranny fluid, diff fluid and coolant fluid less than 500miles ago. It's Automatic tranny and shifts smooth. state inspection is up to date.

Does it come with its previous Manuel, or do you have to hire your own at your nearest Home Depot?

Jeepster FTW! I've always loved those machines. That's the perfect parade car; add some red white & blue bunting along the side, have a plank that spans the back of the car for Miss SD to sit upon, and you're a rock star.

This one looks like it'd be worth checking out; lots of Dinan goodies, and appears to be reasonably clean.

1992 BMW 535i Dinan
5 speed, black, with unusual black interior. Has a few miles (230k), but dont let that scare you - it is very, very nice. Full original Dinan stg 3, which consists of suspension (shocks, springs, camber plates, big adj sway bars fr and rr), LSD diff, header, cam, chip, exhaust, ignition, and very rare 17x9" 3 piece wheels, along with gauges, etc. Has factory M bumpers and skirts. Car is lifelong CA car, and has never seen winter, and is 100% rust free. Nice paint, and very good interior. Has a new clutch kit, and lots of other new parts. Very fun, and unusual car. Will need tires very soon however (255/40/17)
Email me for more info, I have lots of info/specs/etc.

Wouldn't mind taking that TR6 in the background for a little joyride... I mean
drive! (that's if it runs!)

Nice looking car but with that mileage and the upgrades I would be very concerned that the driveline has a lot of hard driving on it.

If that were here in Columbus it might be in my driveway for that price.
Bizarre aside: anyone ever wonder how much money has ever been put into a car over its lifetime? Basically everything except gas. That's one of those I'd like to see the total price.

Oh, come on, Rodney; it can't be more than 14-15 hours from Minneapolis to Columbus. Fly & drive!
For me it's only a four-hour drive, and believe you me, I'm
sorely tempted. I mentioned to my wife tonight that I found a car that I
need to buy (this one); her response was, "which car are you going to sell?" "None; I'm just getting started on my collection!" She didn't see the humor in that. The fact that I got a nice raise yesterday (effective retroactively back to April = fat check!) didn't even help.
She just doesn't get it yet. Maybe if she could have a chat with
Tim's wife...
My son is in the market for a car, and we're planning a road trip to that area in the next week or so (he found a nice e30 he wants to check out.) If this one is still available, I might have to stop for a test drive.

Well, that was the car that was available a few weeks ago, but sold. Guess that didn't work out. Wonder why.

Good to know that, if I understand you correctly, my gut reaction to this car -- driven hard and put away wet for too many years -- was not far off.
With cars, people should understand if something looks to goo to be true, it likely is. I know this lesson having learned it the hard way a few times.

I sure wish I knew which car you guys are talking about, or if the two of you are even talking about the same car. I'm guessing it's the Dinan, but that's just a guess. Did it suddenly become un-cool to quote earlier comments or even select tidbits from them, and I didn't get the memo?

Since there was no car discussed between the E34 and my post, I assume I'm talking about the Dinan E34.

I think this is really awesome, but how the heck would (could?) you even insure it for close to the purchase price?
