Awesome! I've always wanted to check out one of those in person. I've always wondered how those things actually move under the weak power of the M21.

They actually go pretty good. But mine is stripped of all the insides, so its a bit lighter than a normal one.

My wife and I brought a '86 524td home today. We bought it from a 90 year old gentlemen who has owned it for the past 20 years. I thought i took good care of a car until I met this guy. He is really over the top. This car is beautiful. His house was a single car garage with his wife's 528i in it so they rented their next door neighbors garage to keep the 528td in. Dark blue, light tan leather,132,000 mi. I will get some pics posted soon. bbaxter

524td roll call

85 524td. Having troubles. Have a mechanic who supposedly rebuilt the injection pump claiming the housing is bad after spending $$$ for the rebuild kit that the housing to the pump is bad. I bought another pump and worry that he may not have the ability to finish the job properly. Any help would be appreciated. I'm in San Francisco.

I agree! Let's all add our car specs... year/color scheme/tranny/etc.
