I am not aware of a way to do this with this forum software. It may be possible to set up something through Google for an alert, but I've never tried.

This would require the forum to run a new search every time anyone makes or edits a post and then send out e-mails matching certain parameters. It would be intensive for the software and is not a feature that I've seen (but I haven't seen everything) implemented on any forum software. Likely for the mentioned reason.

The prior version of phpBB had an option for that, I'm not sure if it's there in the current version or not. I remember being told that it ate up a lot of server CPU cycles to run that last time I inquired about it.

Does anybody even use RSS feeds anymore?

Google alerts is probably your best bet. I believe you can set the alert to only search this site and email you the relevant links daily, weekly, etc.
