Anyone know what the original plating was on the hood latches? Yellow cadmium, zinc yellow chromate, clear/blue chromate?
I’m experimenting with home plating and I’m really liking the look of zinc with the clear/blue chromate. Cadmium is no longer an option because of its toxicity.
