Car recently came back from paint, very happy with how it turned out. Paint and body were very good before, but clear coat failed.

I went with Coco Mats, which I really debated more than I should have, overall, I really like the look. I still have the OEM, in nice shape, but starting to get a little old.

Looks super clean inside and out. I've always liked the Style 32 wheels on the e28 (and, on my 73 Bav before that).

Holy smokes your car looks great!!
I'm thinking of getting coco mats too. They look great.

Looks super clean, congratulations.
Since we aren't too far from each other, could you share who/which shop did the work for you (if you are happy with it, which you seem to be)? I keep thinking we should keep a running list of mechanic/body/fabrication shops with which folks have had good experience... it's always good to have names handy.
Enjoy!

I was very happy with the work. Kraken Automotive, in Ronkonkoma. They are a friend of the family, they do not commonly take on classic cars, but they are all enthusiasts. This is not a 15k paint job, but they took their time, and did a great job.
