BBS RS 021 16x8 ET11 powdercoated faces and barrels with polished lip

Post by S62ninja »

Newly refinished full set of BBS RS 021.

Powdercoated faces, barrels, and waffles and a polished lip. All OEM BBS parts.
Brand new hardware in black installed. Brand new BBS center caps.
New BBS center cap wrench included.

Asking $4500. Pick up available in Irvine, CA. Can ship at buyer's expense. I would expect that to be just under $200 for the lower 48 states.

Please forgive the question if I am mistaken and need better glasses...

Is it an optical illusion or is some of the gold paint worn off in the 12th, 14th, and 16th photos?

How were these wheels "newly refinished"? How were they "powdercoated"? Thanks for the clarification.

No gold “paint” is worn off. The centers are all powder coated with zero miles since the refinishing. It’s very hard to even chip some powder coat off if I was getting at it with a screwdriver.

The centers, barrels, and waffles were all powder coated gold. The hex nuts and lips were all polished, and the center caps are all brand new.

I think I understand what you mean now. The inner threads thread into plastic so those should not be powdercoated. The threads of the hex nut are plastic and threads into there. Powdercoat is thick and could possibly crack the plastic here since the fit would be well out of tolerance.
