Hello. First time poster and member. I bought an e28 earlier this month and I am trying to find clips to the drivers floormat to retain the mat so it does not slip onto the gas pedal. Forgive me as I have just figured out what they are called. I heard they are referred to as “mitten clips”. Does anyone know where I can acquire these?

I think you can use anything, but if you are looking for the original, these are the alternatives and they are sold in many places (eBay, Amazon, etc...or a BMW dealer)

If not, the newer version is like this, velcro type.

Mid-80s Mercedes-Benz used the mitten clips - you might find some searching that way.
