Need 64111380292 Vent Control Unit

I'm searching for a working center vent control unit, part #64111380292. These have been discontinued, and I've had no luck finding a replacement for my non-functioning unit. I have a very '88 535is for which this part is sorely needed. Thanks for any help!

Clearly it's a different part...and NLA. My suggestion is trying to find a complete HVAC with AC (there are some available at eBay) and get the part inside.

I took your advice and did just that. Let's see if I'm lucky enough to have that component working in the unit I bought.
