Considering a chipped vs. non-chipped b35 (both NA motors), can anyone provide real word experience & opinions? With stock cam.

You mean a turbo chip?
Chipped you can run more boost and make more power so ya do it.

I know B34 and B35 are not the same, but in my dads 200K B34 with a chip there is a very noticeable improvement in accel, and response throughout the whole rpm range. I do not see why this would apply with the B35's motronic. This is in terms of NA.

The Mark D chip provides a noticeable improvement in power under the curve, and seat of the pants feel.
I'd say work with him on a custom chip.
