What amount of boost is there available for the different
kits?
are they bigger turbines/piping?
how many different stages are offered for the 535?
And do you use lower compression pistons? I know its already 8:1 stock for a 88 535...just wondering though. Someone said the 535 is perfect for turbo'ing cause of the low compression stock.
thanks

Todd will work with you to figure out what your goals are and get you the right turbo for your application.Super Eurobeat wrote:are they bigger turbines/piping?

Bottom and top end can stay as stock. The m30 has proven capable of withstanding 15-20psi of intercooled boost without any form of internal modification. And do you use lower compression pistons? Boost doesn't change by the "stage" of the kit, it changes by which wastegate spring you use, which changes depending on your goal for the kit. 13-14 psi is the limit for the non-intercooled kit on 93 octane. 20psi is possible with the stage 2 kit.
There are people using TCD kits running anywhere from 8 to 20psi of boost.

Well Shawn, i am SHOCKED that you would think that i am lazy and wouldnt already have tried the search! The nerve!Shawn D. wrote:Because a person who isn't the type to bother to search for questions that have already been asked & answered is also the type who wouldn't bother reading a sticky.ehlpitel wrote:If everyone is so sick of questions, why doesn't someone compile a sticky answering the common questions????

who needs to be taught. you put in what you are looking for in the form of a WORD. If you are using multiple words, you put AND in between them as so.Super Eurobeat wrote:damn, sounds like a well built motor for turbo'ing
i dont know how to use the search function cause it hurts my head when i think :P
nobody ever taught me how to use it correctly
Turbo AND engine AND 535
I think yo ualready demonstrated you gave up prematurely(no pun intended) or you didnt even try at all.i am SHOCKED that you would think that i am lazy and wouldnt already have tried the search!
