Wow, a 4 barrel intake with the flow characteristics of a 1 barrel Solex manifold....awesome!!!

Man, if that was $15 total, I'd bid on it. Just to have it.
I think we could turn that into the "best beater" trophy at 5er fest and hand it down from year to year, kinda like the "best breakdown" trophy.
After all, it probably just barely works, and is ugly as all get out.

I think that manifold is the cousin to the "tunnel ram" a guy at my high school made for his primer-red '71 Nova: it consisted of two carb baseplates, carb-body-side facing together at the ends of four 2-foot tubes. One baseplate bolted on the intake manifold in the normal carb position and then the carb bolted to the other baseplate, outside the hood.
