update on turbo install

Post by red535t »

just got the car back from tuners.
finaly.
its in its rough tune stage, and the guy reckons its making a'fair amount of power'
250kw at the wheel
its running pig rich at the mo,so i cant melt it.
he didnt tune it any better as this is not realy possible on a 0.5 bar spring.
and he didnt want anything to break as this would then be a situation that he would like to avoid.fair enough i thought.
Anyway,
i love nailing the right pedal.instaled a simple boost gauge and it reading 12 psi.no wonder the hp.
starts making boost from 2800 . full and stable at 4500 right through to redline

hope it all sticks together long enough to get it tuned better.
hope to get done soon as i have trouble keeping up with feeding it :bawl:

have spent time installing bumper, grills etc. since these pics were taken.
intercooler works really well.might change the braided lines to garden hose to accomadate more flow.
