tach reads low problem

[Jim in CO - 533i]

I believe the problem is either the tach or the sensor. Anyone had this problem fixed by replacing the sensor?

Also, is the tach on a 533 and 535 the same? If not, would a 535 tach in a 533 cause a low reading?

PS - The tach reads about 10% low.
