SCAMMED BY FORUM MEMBER

Post by arcpolo1 »

I have paypaled a forum member...screen name "MOGIE" for a pfeba rear apron for $308.00 and its been over 2 months. I have gotten nothing from him, no money back, no email, no reply, and no item on my driveway. He wrote back about a month ago said hes been busy and he will get the item out as soon as he frees up. I followed up with a reply saying its ok, as long as i know i am not being scammed, and he said he has no intention of scamming me and will get the item out very soon.
Well long story short, I am out $300 and who seemed to be a trusted member on here. Anybody had done any business with this guy??

TIA

Same back at you. Karl shipped a full set of OE shocks for an M5 on the promise of a personal check being in the mail, (it was) with my stated condition that the parts didn't need to be shipped until my check cleared his bank. Items were in new condition and well packed, all the communications were timely.
Very satisfied with the transaction.

Just bought an ECU from Matt (Bimmerguy2002) and have nothing but positive things to say. Response was very quick after posting a wanted ad, communication good, and shipping was extremely fast.

Wouldn't hesitate to buy from again if he ever has another part I need.

Freakin' NANAJOTH sent me a good manual trans swap. I was hoping for some kind of hang up in the details or poor shipping, but everything went as described. Very satisfied, now I got suckered into fixing mye28 to get more enjoyable clicks from the car.
