We have a fitting problem regarding the sensor, what is the solution?

Going to need a little more information than that. What sensor? Neither b35 or s38b38 have flywheel sensors. I can understand an issue if attempting to install in a b34 car running 059 ecu, as that does require pulse sensor inputs from a tab on the flywheel, which the s38b38 flywheel doesn't have.

I also want to know why you would want to put in the extra heavy dual mass flywheel from the B38 on anything? Also you might have some clutch height issues unless you are using a G280 or a S420G with the specific parts.

Yes it was my mistake i meant M30B34 and the flywheel is from a S38B36 engine !

As I said on Facebook, you cannot use it unless you also change your injection to Motronic 1.3 from an E32 or E34. It may be possible to drill a hole in the side and insert a dowel pin to act as the trigger for the sensor, but it must be EXACT or the timing will be off.

What car is this in and what injection is it running?

We put one on a lightened flywheel that was sans trigger. With the one pictured you might be missing the outer area between PP bolts where it would usually go.

Like Moose said if you add it... it better be in just the right spot and I would verify this on engine by marking the current trigger location carefully then transferring to the new flywheel which is what we did. It has nothing to do with where you 'think' TDC would be. It's way off from TDC lining up with the TDC sensor. I think it leads by almost 90 degrees or such.

Then it better be secured very well since if it flies off you are kaput. We milled a slot and added a small bar with two screws and loctite. Then the PP bolted down over this so it's not coming off. I might have a picture still.

Then you also need to balance the new assembly IMO. We balanced the flywheel then balance again with PP added. I've yet to see a PP as well balanced as OE BMW flywheel btw. The PP always throws the balance off no matter how you orient it.

The car is a E28 with motronic 1,1. M30B34 engine

not sure a tab would work with the 6 ears for the pressure plate potentially sending signals too, i can't remember if the ears are close enough to the path the ref sensor reads to be a problem. i had that flywheel on my m30b35 in the 81 633 and moved it to the m88/3 in the new shark.

it doesn't take much for a tab, here is one i made for a 635 to avoid pulling the tranny

On all that I've seen on M30 and M20's the tab stands proud enough from anything else it should not be triggered from either the machined FW, PP or even a torque converter like you show.

on the average flywheel yes but this one is a little different with the tabs hanging out, i can't remember if they are in a bad position to provide false triggering

J Drove the car a few hours ago and OH MY GOD it revs like crazy
