Price is 7500 € ALL INCL

As this engine was built as a E30 conversion in mind .. and drops in from an E34
the text follows as it was made for E30,,

but to throw it in to an E28 the sump etc etc must be changed,,

IMO this is the ultimate IL6 for E28,,

before meltdown,, ((i was playing with air and the engine was running ALPHA-N,, so it got to much air and went lean))

i got 306 WHP and 386 WTQ in Newtonmeters,, or 284 lbs/ft
when dynoed,, but the torque is so high that i am not sure how accurate it is.... oem torque is 295 lbs on crank and 340 ponies,,,

my engine was remapped by the famous guru Mr.X,, a well known guy in this buisness

my car as an E30 cabrio have 13.28 @ 107 mph on 17" 245/35 with 36 psi on 3.73 LSD diff
dryweight is 3200 lbs or 1450 kg,, the car is impressive powerful,, and the difference in torque ,, driving feeling
vs S50B32 is unbeliveble the grunt is truly amazing

here are pictures from booster and servo lines that are still in the car

The engine had been in the car from 2007-2012

Bargain price for all that work, if done correctly. I agree, the b38 is the best engine for these chassis'. Good luck with the sale.

I agree with Christian! If it runs as good as it looks it will be a good deal too.

Looks like shipping is going to be a problem. I put a bid request up on Uship and have gotten no response except for one guy asking for more info.

Still a cool engine though. GLWS

Holy smokes! My wife's relative work{s,ed} at Kistufel, I think!

Leyfur, I beleive. He would be perhaps 80 years old at this point.

Great looking motor. I imagine S38s are very rare in Iceland!

He took the crank in my B10 BT and turned it..
