Looking for coolant change instructions. Has anyone posted detailed instructions on replacing the coolant on an M5. I am planning to replace the coolant on my M5 this weekend, I would like to have as much information as possible.
Read the Bentley last night. I mentions a radiator drain plug, but I could not find one in my car. Is the engine drain plug, the plug located behind the exhaust headers on the passenger side.

Yeah, just the drain plug on the block as the radiator doesn't have one. I had one hell of a time trying to reach the plug but finally got up there with two wobble extensions.
My coolant was pretty nasty so I ended up running a coolant flush through the system and rinsing that out before filling with fresh stuff. Make sure you turn on the heat to flush out the core. Just fill the expansion tank to the proper level, the system is self bleeding.
Oh yeah and prepare for a mess!
