10psi on Motronic with 008 ECU?

Just thinking, because I am still in the planning phase of my turbo project (read: broke phase) so I am wondering if I will need to "update" my Motronic stuff. I have an '84 533i with the 008 ECU, can this ECU handle 10psi? I might not even go that high, but what things would I have to adjust for? Fuel pressure regulator, bigger injectors, anything? Are there any ECUs that will handle boost better than can be used with my harness?

Im running 8psi on the 008 ECU like you and I have seen no problems with fuel cutout or anything. I dont plan on running larger injectors or more boost till I get an 059 ECU installed. Its easier and have a larger range of injectors available for cheaper. Parts cars with 059 ECU's and wiring harnesses are plentyful also.

Honestly, if your going to spend the money to do a swap, go megasquirt. $250, a more accurate map sensor, and a few other goodies, and some time, and youre good to go, and INFINITELY tuneable. No more buying performance chips, no more games. Thats what I'm gonna do to my car.
