Friend of mine is a journeyman auto glass guy. Whenever he stops by the shop, I steal about 6 cans of 3M foamy aerosol cleaner from his work van. Works great, and the best part is, it's free!
When I take my cars in for window tinting, I am given a can of "Performax Glass Cleaner." It works well, but I'm sure most products are very similar in content.
When I had my windows tinted, the guy said basically anything without ammonia in it is fine for tinted windows. There are plenty of things at Autozone that say Ammonia-free or "Safe for Tinted Windows" on the can/bottle.
I use either those glass wipes or just Windex. I think they have ammonia-free Windex.
I second Booker's Invisable Glass tip as I think it is the best stuff out there. It is hard to
find. Kragen and Pep Boys are distributors but they seem to be out of it most of the time.
So I buy multiple cans when they do have it.
Found the Invisible Glass at Schuck's of all places. I haven't used it yet, so I figure I'll get another post out of this thread when I report the results in an hour or so.

Well I've always had wonderful performance with rubbing alcohol and a clean, low lint cloth. Cuts all the film and dries without streaks. In fact I took the spray bottle from the last thing of glass cleaner I bought 6 years ago and filled it up with rubbing alcohol. Works great for cleaning. Of course it does nothing to slow the haze build up... but it doesn't take much time to clean the windows once a month.
