  That intercooler is HUGE! How in the hell are you going to hide that. (oh, I see now)

Looks like you are making a kit capable of big power. What are your initial goals?

The front of the E36 will accept a quite large IC, unlike out cars. Guys over at the BF.c are using those alot.

Intercooler is quite large. 14x17x4.5 core rated to 900hp.
If only E36s were rated to 900 bhp...... :-(

Best to design BIG then reduce if desired then the opposite way 'round.

If things work out, it will be interesting to see if he abandons the E28 market as have many other tuners. Hopefully he'll continue to support us, only time will tell. Money does weird things to people.

Good to know Todd as I am counting on you to improve the 745i.
Err, is there any way you can modify the exhaust to fit the 745i?

Give me a little time to find the ECU in my horde of spare parts and I will take some pics for you on the chips.

I just picked up the Alfa today but please still count me in on the Tial wastegate in a couple of weeks.

Thanks.

I was lamenting the fact that even a stock 325i rips out it's rear suspension from the chassis floor. It was more of a comment on BMW's faux pas on the E36/46; implicitly stating that TCD's design/engineer big then reduce as needed is always a better strategy than the other way around.

Todd,

I consider you a friend and I know you as a car guy. However I don't know the business side of you, that's all.

It's refreshing to hear that you'll continue to support the old BMW Big Block. The short drive I took in Greg's S1 535i was enough to hook me. The only problem is the damn restrictive emissions testing in Houston. So I have to wait a few years or look for a nice '83 533i with a blown engine.

Rich, when I get my car tuned I can go put it on a sniffer for you. Once it passes you won't have any excuses. ;)

Rich,

Up here in MA we have the same emission standards as CA. The twin turbo 635 (TCD race car) passes with no cat.

Thank what ever being you may find to be the creator/almighty/lord over all/tasty treat/perfect with beer or a good scotch that there is no visual check up here :D

I became a good welder long after my grinding skills were razor sharp. Tis true. I hang my head in shame.

The car is running well. Todd added the bigger injectors and programming and I think he found the plugs he wanted. He ran it around yesterday with a 5psi WG spring with great success. Today, after running through all the calculations, it was determined that a 10psi WG spring would yield approximately twice the boost and three times the fun... so, it's running around with 10psi boost on a 10.5:1 engine and hitting the dyno tomorrow hopefully. :D
